Cross Country Intramurals
Cross-country intramurals will be held immediately after school on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 11 and 12. Intramurals introduce students to the basics of cross-country running and give them a chance to decide whether they want to commit to the season. The cross-country season begins with intramurals and runs through our final regular-season meet on October 5. Qualifying runners will continue through the regional championships.
Students who want to continue with the team must attend one tryout session on either Monday or Tuesday, August 17 or 18.
For all intramural and tryout sessions, students should:
- Wear athletic clothing and running shoes.
- Bring a snack and a water bottle to stay fueled and hydrated.
- Change in the restroom after school, then wait outside the gym for a coach.
Students who plan to participate on the team must also complete a current sports physical and submit all required paperwork through Aktivate: https://www.aktivate.com/.
